We understand how difficult it can be to keep track of your son's basketball schedule and your daughter's gymnastics calendar.
Some nights, it's difficult to know
what practice or game is where and at what time. "Was I supposed to bring the post-game
snack this week? What uniform are the boys supposed to wear? I think I heard the girl's
softball game field was changed…" Normally, this type of confusion requires you to call
the coach, access multiple team websites that may or may not have been updated recently,
or track down two or three schedule print-outs somewhere in the kitchen. At MyKidsCalendar,
we understand your frustration because we're parents of young, active children, too.
We thought it would be great if all our children's schedules could be combined onto one,
centralized, on-line calendar easily, with the details of each event right there for us to
see from any on-line computer. We thought it was important for us not to have to manually
input each individual practice, scrimmage, game, or other event into our personal calendars,
which would not only be a pain in the neck, but then we would have to manually update each
change as they inevitably occurred throughout the season. Finally, we thought that it
would be wonderful if we could easily combine our children's calendar with our own Outlook
schedule at work. We searched for tools that could do all these things to make our hectic lives
a little easier, but it turns out they didn't exist, so we built MyKidsCalendar.com to fill that gap.
The first step, however, is for your children's coaches and/or team administrators to get
their schedules on MyKidsCalendar.com, something that will make their lives infinitely
easier as well, since our tool was specifically designed for them first. So if they don't
already know about us, send the www.mykidscalendar.com link to your coach or league official,
and don't hesitate to talk to us at support@mykidscalendar.com with any questions or
suggestions.
