Coaches and team administrators, we know the one part of your job you dread is building,
updating, and maintaining your season schedule, and then attempting to communicate with
parents throughout the season. Late night phone calls from parents who can't find their
schedule print-out, or who end up in the wrong place in the wrong uniform because the web
site wasn't updated with the latest schedule changes, among other unpleasant episodes, can
take all the fun out of coaching youth sports.
We know, because the people who founded and built MyKidsCalendar are youth sports coaches,
team administrators, and the parents of young athletes. We tried to find the right tools
to help ease the #1 problem we encounter each season: building and maintaining the team
schedule. We searched far and wide, but discovered that no one offered a tool that was
specifically designed for youth sports administrators…so we built one.
MyKidsCalendar is simple to use because we focus on solving one problem: building the
schedule and communicating the details of each practice, game, scrimmage, party, or other
event to parents. There is nothing to download, no user's manual to read, no special skills
required. After completing our 2-minute registration, you can immediately begin building
your schedule. Once completed, notify your parents that they should register as a parent -
the parent registration process is even easier - and you have a communication network up
and running. You can post notes to your parents for each event, or on our internal bulletin
board. Each time you add or remove a practice, game, or other event, an email is automatically generated
and sent to parents (unless you decide not to do so). If you'd like to send an email note
to the parents that is not a schedule change, you can do that with one click as well.
Ultimately, however, we want to know what you think and need. You can email us at any time
at support@mykidscalendar.com with ideas, requests for new features, or questions. We hope
you find MyKidsCalendar as helpful as we have…enjoy the season.
